Aaron and Jen are quite the couple. While I haven't had the pleasure of watching their relationship grow over these past several years, I have learned this: They have such a love for one another that it's a joy to even have the pleasure of witnessing. I was truly inspired by just spending the afternoon with these two to where I was enveloped by the joy they have for life and for one another. Truly inspiring.
Aaron and Jen told me from day one that they wanted to do their engagement session up Grouse Mountain where Aaron proposed. While we all imagined a wintery session filled with snow and the classic settings our local mountains normally offer, we were faced with a rather spring-like day. Nonetheless we were not held back. We spent some time at the spot on the mountain where Aaron popped "the question", we snuck onto a chairlift, we went for a stroll down what we would normally call a black diamond and we took a little skate over the outdoor ice rink. With laughter from start to finish Aaron and Jen really showed me a great time.
Thank you Aaron and Jen for trusting me to play such a role in your day. I cannot wait for the big day to come. August really cannot come quick enough where I anticipate another gorgeous day up Grouse Mountain.
Check out some of the moments we captured during their session...
